To help you get to know her better, we asked Jennifer a few questions about her work, values, and what drives her every day. Here’s what she shared:
What drew you to join the team at Allison?
“I was drawn to Allison Insurance because it allows me to focus on what’s best for each client, not just one company’s products. I like being able to offer personalized solutions and build long-term, trust-based relationships. The agency’s commitment to prioritizing customer service also fits well with my values.”
How do you approach educating clients about important coverage decisions?
“I always put myself in the client’s shoes, imagining how they’d feel in the middle of a claim, wondering if their coverage truly protects them. When your home is on fire, you’re not thinking about what you paid for your policy; you’re asking, ‘Do I have the right coverage to repair the damage and get my life back on track?’ My goal is to make sure that answer is always yes.”
How do you define “winning” in your day-to-day work?
“For me, the biggest win is receiving a referral. When a customer or business partner trusts me enough to recommend me to their friends or family, it means I’ve earned their confidence and built a real relationship.”
Why is being highly relational important in the insurance world?
“In insurance, people aren’t just buying a policy; they’re buying peace of mind. Being relational helps me understand clients’ needs and priorities, guide them with clarity, and build lasting trust. Insurance is about people first.”
Where did you grow up, and what do you love most about calling Alabama home?
Where did you grow up, and what do you love most about calling Alabama home?“Growing up as a Coast Guard kid, I moved around a lot from Guam to Alaska to Virginia. Choosing the University of Alabama finally gave me a place to put down roots. I fell in love with its welcoming community, and of course, Alabama football Saturdays make it even better.”
